·  Trainer for “Social Media and Protection of Child Rights” at the Dept. of Mass Communication, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University in collaboration with UNICEF India, Bhopal Region in a 5 Day Training programme for 30 Working Journalists of Madhya Pradesh Region in  the areas of Development Journalism on 4th Feb 2019.

·  Organising three days workshop on “Journalism and Emerging Technologies” from 28-30th January 2019. The workshop focused on Drone Journalism, MOJO, AI, AR/VR and live video platforms.

·  Trainer and Distinguished Panel Expert with Mr Prahlad Kakkar and Judged the presentations of three groups of Team Leaders of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) on 21st Nov 2018 at Udaipur. Spoke on “Communication Strategies for Branding BPCL.

·  Conducted a workshop on “Media Management and Media Ownership” at Centre for Culture, Media and Governance (CCMG), Jamia Millia Islamia. On 27th April (under UGC-supported CPEPA Programme), in a Two Week Capacity Building Workshop on Media and Communication Studies from 17th to -29th April 2017 for Assistant Professors and PhD scholars.

Some Initiatives at IIMC

·  As a Course Director, I revised the entire syllabus of English Journalism with inputs from academia and Industry and introduced new concepts like Artificial intelligence, MOJO, Drone Journalism, Media management etc. Conducted and organized various workshops for the students on these innovative topics. For instance A workshop was organized on drone journalism in association with Indian Air Force Pilots and Drone Training instructors.

·  Inhouse Publications (2018-19) – Odyssey ( Interviews of Indian Journalists), Reflections (Collection of Short stories, Lab Journals- Special issues- The Custodian (Defence) , The Catalyst ( Science), The Global Post( International issues), Umang (Child Rights and Public Health), Unnati ( development stories)

·  As Course Director, ADPR, I tied up with Ministry of Road Safety for doing campaigns on Road safety. My students won an award of Rs 1 Lakh from the Ministry.

·  As Dean Students Welfare, I tied up with Google Newslabs and organized Media Mahakumbh, The biggest Media Fest in India with participation from 57 Univerties/ institutes from nine states. As Placement Incharge, record Placements were done that year.
