General Condition of Service
56 Wholetime employment
- The whole time of an employee shall be at the disposal of the
Institute and he may be employed by the Institute for the
performance of such duties as may be assigned to him. provided that
if the employee called upon to perform such duty or duties which do
not fall within the normal duties of post, he may be compensated for
the extra work.
Provided further that the appointment authority is completely
satisfied that such reward was due and justifiable.
- Without prejudice to the generality of clause
- an employee may be required to undergo a course of study of
instruction within or outside India;
- an employee may be required to serve the Institute at any
place and in any post not lower than the post to which he is
substantively appointed; and
- an employee may be transferred to foreign service or sent on
deputation, whether within or outside India.
