Brief Profile

Having strong professional experience of Publications Management, Teaching, drafting of Policy documents, streamlining the processes and developing transparent system for systematising the entire gamut of communication through print and electronic mode. Presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Publications and Course Director, Urdu Journalism Department at IIMC.

Holding additional rsponsibilities of Editor, ‘Communicator’, ‘Rajbhasha Vimarsh’ and ‘Sanchar Srijan’ Magazine, Nodal Officer, SC/ST Cell and In-charge IIMC Press. Also serving as Nodal Officer, Transparency Audit and publisher of IIMC journals and magazines. Also served as Regional Director and Academic Head, IIMC Amravati campus, Maharashtra. Chief Vigilance Officer, IIMC, , CPIO, Head Accounts Department.

Having more than 40 years’ experience in the Planning and Management of publications in various Govt. Organisations viz; the IIMC, ICAR, Directorate of Training & Technical Education, Delhi and Survey of India, Min. of S&T.

Experience

Teaching

14 Years as Professor at IIMC, New Delhi & Amravati Campus and Lecturer at the Dte. of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of Delhi. Being Regional Director, IIMC Amravati Campus, nurtured students with ethical and professional values. Apart from teaching, worked with students on different live projects like lab journals, newsletters, research projects, magazine production, print production, etc. As Academic Head and RD, IIMC Amravati Campus, students were mentored for developing skills for News, Bulletin, PTC application of AI emerging trends in drone and photo journalism, graphic designing, data verification etc. Urdu Journalism syllabus got updated as per emerging technologies in media. Drafted guidelines for the Development of Textbooks in Hindi and Indian Languages.
